I watched this video on YouTube.

It's kinda amazing,isn't it? I mean, advertising about Islam like that in a country full of people who disgusts Islam so much, is very very bold.

Yeah I like the video a lot. But read the comments about it. Let me pick a couple of it.

By shabotages: that barbar religion is bullshit.

Now, when you read those comments, how do they make you feel?

Angry? No?

Or feeling sad out of no where?

Suddenly de-motivated?

Now, what do you expect?

You are doing da'wah. And you expect people to love you? Or you expect compliment from people around you?

You want everything to be B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L??

And you got really really really depressed when what you expected didn't actually come true?

Even the prophets and companions went through a bumpy road. It's just back then, it was more to physical abuse (plus emotional). Ours is more to emotional ones.

Da'wah is to make you resilient. That's why it's difficult. If you can bear the emotional torture, go on with it. If you can't, well, keep on trying. That's what the prophets and companions did. They keep on walking.

"Kalaulah apa yang kamu serukan kepada mereka itu keuntungan yang mudah diperoleh dan perjalanan yang tak seberapa jauh, Pastilah mereka akan mengikutimu......"(at-Taubah 9:42)

"Apakah manusia mengira bahawa mereka akan dibiarkan hanya dengan mengatakan: "Kami beriman." dan mereka tidak dijuji?"(al-Ankabut 29:2)
